Total weight gain:  24lbs

Maternity clothes:  oh yes, and some large sized spring stuff.

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Sleeping great

Best moment this week: Getting out for a long walk and enjoying the warm weather

Missing anything? Bbq hot dogs!

Movement: Lots! and she likes to cram her feet or arms up underneath my rib cage and make me squirm.

Cravings: Hot dogs

Anything making you queasy? Nothing

Gender: Girl

Labour Signs: Lots of braxton hicks...getting some practice in before the big day.

Symptoms: Feeling awesome.  A little emotional lately.

Belly button: Still flat... I'm wondering if it's going to pop out or stay flat.

Emotions:  Anxious.  10 weeks to go!

Excited for:  BBQ's in our new backyard!

 

Baby weighs three whole pounds!

29 Weeks

 

How far along?  29 weeks

Total weight gain:  20lbs

Maternity clothes:  yeup... and I started wearing a moo moo.  well it's a maxi dress but I call it my moomoo.

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Sleeping is amazing!

Best moment this week: Picking out Baby Girl's crib with my Mom.  A crib is something Grandma should buy...it's just fitting. :)

Missing anything? Green Beer!

Movement: Still lots of movement and hiccups.

Cravings: Strawberry Jam, Kosher barrel pickles, sex.

Anything making you queasy? Nothing

Gender: Girl

Labour Signs: none this week

Symptoms: Feeling really great and happy lately.  My back pain is gone since I've started walking more with the warmer weather.

Belly button: pretty much flat now... aside from my weird looking nipples, it's by far the strangest change in my body.

Emotions:  Super happy and excited to move!

Excited for:  Now that the warm weather is here, I'm dying to be outside.  I'm excited to have a backyard and to suntan and do some gardening while Baby Girl is playing in her playpen.  (oh! and drink sangria!)

28 Weeks

 

How far along?  28 weeks...Hello third trimester and month 7!

Total weight gain:  20lbs

Maternity clothes:  yup! dying to go shopping though.

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Sleeping is amazing!

Best moment this week: Getting our house 100%! We're so happy it all worked out and I can't wait to move in... One more month!

Missing anything? Celebrating St. Patty's day with all my very drunken girls!

Movement: Strong kicks and punches.  I can feel her on opposite sides of my belly at the same time...she's getting so big.  Dad really got to feel how hard she kicks me from the outside this week.

Cravings: ice cream!! i want blizzards all day long.  I haven't had too many cravings or even very strong ones so I just pretend that I'm "craving" delicious things because I feel like I'm getting ripped off this pregnancy.

Anything making you queasy? Nothing

Gender: Girl

Labour Signs: a few Braxton Hicks here and there.

Symptoms: Feeling really good this week after getting over a chest cold, which was amplified times a billion, like everything else when you're pregnant.

Belly button: In...super shallow... I'm afraid to poke it in case it pops out.

Emotions:  Excited!!

Excited for:  To start making all the fun accents that I have planned for baby girl's nursery.

 

27 Weeks, Nursery Plan & Toy Chest

 

 

How far along?  27 weeks

Total weight gain:  20lbs

Maternity clothes:  Oh yes... so happy I'm pregnant through the winter.

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Sleeping great.

Best moment this week: Getting together with the girls...and popcorn!!

Missing anything? Sunday afternoon drinks.

Movement: Lots of movement all day long... and she started kicking my ribs....Fun!

Cravings: doughnuts... danishes...muffins...any kind of baked good that will go straight to my ass and hips.... and definitely already has.

Anything making you queasy?  Coffee

Gender: Girl

Labour Signs: Pretty sure I had some braxton hicks contractions last night... kinda uncomfortable. I can see how deep breathing will come in handy.  Yikes!

Symptoms: Back pain, overall discomfort, shortness of breath.

Belly button: In...almost flat...looking very unfamiliar.

Emotions:  Happy ...irritable sometimes... kinda bitchy about being uncomfortable.  I just keep telling myself how worth it it's going to be when we finally get to meet her.

Excited for:  Painting and getting baby girls nursery ready.

 

Baby is the size of a cauliflower...holyyy! She weighs 2 lbs.

So I'm a crazy organized person anyway, and now I'm apparently "nesting"... so this is what I've come up with for a nursery plan in our new home.

Since I have a lot more free time on the weekends now that I'm not spending my days too hungover to move, I wanted to do a small project and refurnish a toy chest that my mom bought me.  

 

 

First I sanded off the original finish.

 

 

Then I primed the chest and sanded it again.

 

 

 

 Then I painted it and painted it again.

 Then I personalized the inside with a little note.

 

...But of course, I had to edit out baby girls name... just for suspense!
